The orange peel keeps this from tasting like straight potpourri, which is what usually ruins cinnamon teas for me. I've been drinking it plain every afternoon and the black tea base is strong enough to hold up without milk.

The cinnamon hits first and stays warm through the whole cup, which is exactly what I wanted for cold mornings. I was worried the orange would be too perfumey but it's just a light backdrop. Steeps up nicely without turning bitter even when I forget it for a few extra minutes.

The orange peel is what makes this one work for me, it keeps the cinnamon from getting too heavy. I've been brewing it with a splash of milk in the afternoons and the copper color alone is worth it.
