The muscatel note is exactly what I want from a Darjeeling - fruity and crisp without being sweet. You can really taste that it's from the peak June harvest, so much depth than my usual first flush tea.

That first pour was a gorgeous golden bronze—you can tell it's a second flush just by looking. Unusually smooth for a Darjeeling and the muscatel finish lingers beautifully. Already reordering.

The muscatel flavor really comes through with just a short steep, and it's got that bright golden color I look for in a second flush. I've been drinking it plain in the afternoons and it stays smooth even when I forget and let it go a bit long.
