The jasmine scent hits as soon as you open the bag—floral but never perfumey. Those tightly rolled pearls unfold into a delicate green tea that stays sweet through three steeps.

I was skeptical about tea that looks like little rolled beads, but dropping a few in hot water and watching them slowly open is half the fun. The jasmine is soft and natural, not perfumey like the scented bags I used to buy, and I've already gone through most of the tin.

These little pearls are fun to watch unfurl as they steep, and the green tea base is smooth without any bitterness. I just wish the jasmine flavor lingered a bit longer in the cup, since it's strongest on the first couple of infusions.
