Piña jengibre

Iced this over the weekend and the pineapple comes through more than I expected, with the ginger lingering at the end. The lemongrass and peppermint keep it from tasting too sweet, which I appreciate.

Brewed this hot and the ginger really comes through with a nice kick, but the pineapple keeps it from being too sharp. The licorice root adds a subtle sweetness that makes it feel like a treat without needing any honey. My afternoon cup has become a daily thing since this arrived.

The lemongrass and peppermint balance the ginger so well that it's refreshing rather than just spicy. I've been steeping it a bit longer than suggested and the pineapple sweetness really comes through on the finish. This is my new afternoon go-to when I want something warm but not boring.
