Ceylon OP1

The orchid note really comes through in the first sip, and that mild spicy finish keeps me going back for another cup. I've been brewing it loose every morning for a week and it hasn't turned bitter once, even when I forget and leave it a minute too long.

I was expecting a standard black tea but this Ceylon OP1 actually has a nice mild spicy finish that lingers a bit. The copper color in the cup is really pretty too. Brewed it for about three minutes and it stayed smooth, no bitterness at all.

The orchid note is what got me — it's subtle, not perfumey, and the copper color in the cup is lovely. I've been drinking it every morning this week, and that mild spice at the end keeps it from tasting flat.
